Meera Kaul Meera Kaul

Over the last two decades of her career, Meera Kaul has incubated, financed and promoted technology enabled ventures in US, Europe and the emerging markets of Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Kaul is a serial entrepreneur and an angel investor, and has worked in venture capital and private equity domains. She continues to be involved with several start-ups the world over as an investor, or in an advisory role and holds a striking track record of four multi-million dollar exits. She is also an investor in several Silicon Valley start-ups, the founder of technology publications and sits on the board of various hi-tech ventures globally.

Kaul is also the founder of The Meera Kaul Foundation (MKF), a not-for-profit that works towards addressing gender bias in workplaces and empowering women through skills training and capacity building.

MKF runs the Women in STEM programme and conference, for women in science and technology globally. The programme includes a process that handholds school immersion, provides opportunities for women to address STEM education with ease, provides them placement and internship with the best employers in the world, helps in hand holding women back to the workforce after a break and addresses any intermittent career and empowerment issues that women in the workforce and women entrepreneur may face.

Kaul has a degree in International Taxation and Financial Law from TJSL, and is also an alumni of the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
