Charles Yang Charles Yang

Charles Yang, Huawei’s president for the Middle East region, oversees all of Huawei’s Group activities, as well as 5,000 employees.

As the regional president, he is also responsible for overseeing the company’s operations, guiding its strategic direction and leading its business development and customers’ relations to drive wider adoption of the Huawei’s technology innovations

With over 18 years of experience in the telecoms industry, he is integral to setting the strategic direction of company and its efforts to expand its business.

Yang joined Huawei in 1999 and played a key role in many of Huawei's milestone global projects. In this time, Yang held a number of senior positions in the company, most notably as president of Huawei's STC Group account and CEO for Huawei in Shandong, Neimeng and Liaoning province in China.

Yang graduated from Chongqing University in Posts and Telecommunications in China.
